Totally legit. I've won two different auctions on Heritage House Dealers. They answer the phone when you call and the paperwork is all professional, one time delivery got delayed with a couple of days but other than that all goodHello all, I just happened to hear about this heritagehousedealers.com and I am curious, are they legit? I don't want to get scammed out of a deposit. If anyone has successfully bought equipment from them, please let me know how it went
It’s not broken, man. The auctions are short. You probably caught them in between drops. They list a batch, let it run for a few days, and then take it down once everything sells. You have to catch the new lots when they uploadI never heard of them, just checked their website and there's no auction. Is the site broken or do they only list stuff at certain times?
So what if the machine arrive broken? Not a scam but people place high bids on machines. Since you can't inspect the item, you have to rely on the photos. They offer transport if you want which helps a lot. I usually just bid as high as I think it's worth and see what happens.
Yeah, the site is empty sometimes. They usually have a short time for auctions, around 3-5 days, and around 20-30 items. If you missed the window, it’ll look empty until the next batch dropsI never heard of them, just checked their website and there's no auction. I suppose you can sue them if they say it works, they offer some sort of 7 days warranty in which time you can return it and ask for a refund if it's not as describedSo what if the machine arrive broken?
That's my favorite part. Saves you from overpaying just because you got competitive with someone elseThe nice thing about blind auctions is that there's no war at the end of the bid. You don't have to sit at your computer for 3 hours sniping people.
Pretty much no returns, but I think there are exceptions, if it's not as described or it has issues that were not listed in the description- but they will probably try and fix the issues at a workshop close to you before they'll take it back but in the end you want a machine that runs, so that works tooCan you return the machine if you're not happy with?
No, unfortunately not. Since you can't inspect the item beforehand, all sales are final. You pretty much own it as soon as you win the bidCan you return the machine if you're not happy with?
I think you should be able to return it if the engine is broken. You expect some wear and tear, but a blown motor is a whole different story. No, unfortunately not. Since you can't inspect the item beforehand, all sales are final. You pretty much own it as soon as you win the bid
Well they have an inspection report so would be illegal to lie about that, my boss won a very nice dozer on this website, it has some rust but they mentioned it in the descriptionI wouldn't pay for anything that I can't inspect by myself
It takes some guts to do it but I won 2 auctions, low hours equipment for a good priceI wouldn't pay for anything that I can't inspect by myself
